Created by sound healer and meditation master Lindy Romez, the EkoSync app was built to spread the healing effects of sound at a global scale. Lindy has been a musician most of her life, is a United States Army Veteran, and worked as a civilian for several years before becoming a yoga instructor. In 2017 she studied in Rishikesh, India to become a meditation master and learned how to use the Tibetan singing bowls to heal the body. Since then she’s been giving Sound Baths in her community and enjoys sharing this treatment at Veteran homes and hospitals as well. After witnessing the healing effects of frequency medicine, especially with those experiencing PTSD, Lindy knew she had to share this ancient technology with the world. The idea for EkoSync app was born. Today, the EkoSync team is composed of meditation teachers, yogis, Veteran family members, and people who want to help the world heal through individuals who are suffering.
As a professional trumpeter, Lindy thought she understood the power of sound until she experienced a car accident in 2000. During her recovery, Lindy dove deep into Eastern philosophy and methods and discovered for herself through study and practice the deeper more subtle healing properties of sound. Lindy is Musician, Author, Reiki Master and is certified in Yoga, Sound Healing Therapy, Meditation.
"These sacred Eastern healing techniques through yoga, mantra and sound are available to us all and with a dedicated practice, we have the ability to tap into the deeper qualities of ourselves. When we do that, magic happens!" -Lindy
